Setup 1 – 1J0706-21288B2

This setup shows a 6 digit code containing the filling date and a 7,8,9 digit manufacture date lot code. The first 6 digits before the hyphen show the date of filling, the digits after the hyphen show the manufacture date.

The manufacture date is stored in the first 5 digits after the hyphen. Where the first 2 digits show the manufacture year and the last 3 digits show the Julian day of manufacturing.

Examples:

  • 8K2921-18348A1
  • 1K0909-21326A11
  • 1K2417-21343B224

Input
Manufacture date (YYYY-MM-DD)
Setup 2 – 22125

This setup is often used for kits and shows the manufacture date of the kit. If the label shows multiple of these, only note the one that has the oldest manufacture date. It is a 5-digit lot code. The first 2 digits refer to the manufacturing year. The next 3 digits are the Julian day.

Therefore, for lot code 21277, the manufacture year is 2021 and the Julian day is 277 making the exact manufacture date October 4th 2021.

Examples:

  • 21277
  • 22125
  • 25023

Input
Manufacture date (YYYY-MM-DD)
Setup 3 – PG01HB P.02/22

The first combination of letters and numbers show the lot code, the second part after the P shows the month and year of production. To set a baseline, we always use the first day of the month to calculate the manufacture date.

Therefore, for lot code PG01HB P.02/22, the manufacture date is February 1st 2022.

Examples:

  • PG01HB P.02/22
  • PG01HB P.06/24
  • PG01HB P.01/25

Input
Manufacture date (YYYY-MM-DD)
Setup 4 – 22129-A01

  • 22129-A01
